With a show that runs up to Sunday 15 October 2017, Siv brings his signature blend of laughs to the Baxter Theatre this October. His new one-man stand-up comedy show Siv-ilized is hilarious, taking no prisoners. Since his last show four years ago, this dynamic funny guy has developed a show that covers just about everything and anything, no matter how taboo! 3/ Spring Rhapsody – Cape Town City Ballet

On Friday 13 and Saturday 14 October 2017, Cape Town City Ballet is showcasing its spectacular show, Spring Rhapsody at the Artscape Opera House. Featuring Robin van Wyk’s work written to George Gerschwin’s Stairway to Paradise, a repeat of Ashley Killar’s Glazunov Variations plus Spring Waters pas de deux, Johan Strauss’s Blue Danube and the Diane and Acteon pas de deux, this dance performance promises to be a memorable show. 4/ Stellenbosch Craft Beer Festival

Taking place on Saturday 14 October 2017, the Stellenbosch Craft Beer Festival is sure to be a fun day out. This event takes place in the Jan Marais Nature Reserve in the Cape Winelands. As featured in our line up of October events in Cape Town, this event is a must for any beer lover. Highlights include new fewer than 20 breweries on tap, including Fokof Lager, Stellenbosch Brewing Co, Elysium Brewing Company and others, along with food trucks and live music and comedy. Head down to Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville on Sunday 15 October 2017 to enjoy the Oyster & Champagne Festival taking place this weekend. Now in its third year, the iPotsoyi Spring Festival takes place on Saturday 14 October 2017 from 12h00 until late. This event will be held at Cape Town Ostrich Ranch. Meaning ‘party’, iPotsoyi is a popular urban outdoor festival that promotes good vibes. On the lineup, you will find a diverse range of acts including Cassper Nyovest, Black Motion, Nasty C, Youngsta, OkMalumkoolkat, Frank Casino, Distruction Boyz, Mshayi. 7/ Casper Ace & The Wild Cards
