August in Cape Town

...though lunch at Olympia cafe never hurts on the worst of days
Photograph of Wale Street taken in August in Cape Town

Well, I must say, this month we have had some fantastic weather. It has been cold at night sure, but we have had some of the most awesome days of the year. I have had the luxury of taking a few days to explore our beautiful city, and each of them has been worth its weight in gold.

I have most enjoyed my day trips to false bay, Muizenberg in particular has been most impressive, (though lunch at Olympia cafe never hurts on the worst of days) Camps Bay is as beautiful as ever, and week days on the beach are always something special. We have had a few nice walks on Table Mountain, I took some nice pics which I will post on here shortly.

I am really looking forward to summer, and hope to spend a lot more time appreciating the outdoors in our beautiful city!
