Located at the heart of the village, with restaurants, bars and cafes close-by, this property is traditional in appearance from the street however contemporary and modern within.
The ground floor is open plan with a fully equipped “red” kitchen & seating area that opens onto a large living space lit from the 1st floor skylight above. Full width and height wooden Venetian sliding doors divide this area from the large air-conditioned ground floor master bedroom. The built in cupboards hide steps leading you to the en-suite bathroom with shower and bath.
Open slatted stairs take you to the bright second air-conditioned lounge area. Again full width and height wooden Venetian sliding doors divide this area from the large second bedroom. The built in cupboards hide steps leading you to the en-suite bathroom with again shower and bath.
At the opposite end of this floor the lounge opens onto a small balcony with large plunge pool where you can sit and enjoy the city views.
At the front of the property, and across the public pavement, there is a small garden and picnic bench.
Due to the present city wide drought crisis, with the council enforcing from 1st June 2017 only essential tap water usage, the pool at this property might either not be cleaned to our normal standards or not available. We are now in winter season so temperatures have dropped and this pool is not heated so generally not used during this colder period; we can only apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding that Cape Town is saving valuable tap water for basic needs.
As an extra service, and separate to the accommodation rate, this cottage does have free WiFi when available.
