This Cape Town café serves breakfast and lunch, but on Saturdays, it becomes a popular brunch joint that attracts a number of Capetonians. Situated inside the Winchester Mansions right on the lovely Sea point promenade, Harveys is well-known for its buffet brunch and even has a live jazz band playing to top the whole brunch experience off. Loading Bay is a shop that sells clothes and a café that serves the most amazing brunch on Saturdays. It may sound confusing, but you can enjoy their popular burger with cheese, bacon, eggs, and grilled banana served on a bun while checking out clothing brands like Naked & Famous Denim. There are also plenty of salads on the menu including goat cheese salads and beetroot.
5 Sotano
Located on Mouille Point in Cape Town, Sotano is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant that serves exotic brunch and offers amazing ocean views. Their signature brunch dish is definitely the Middle East-themed Shakshouka, sunny-side up eggs in a sauce of tomatoes, onions, chili, and red peppers. If you prefer a healthier option for your weekend brunch, order the homemade muesli or French toast with fresh fruit. The weekend brunch hours run from 7 am to 12:30 pm.
