Celebrating its 28th anniversary, Hermanus Whale Festival is one of the most anticipated events we have this weekend and definitely the largest gathering in Hermanus this year. For those who don’t know, Hermanus is one of the best destinations in the world for watching whales. This year’s program includes everything from boat-based and land whale watching, live music, shopping stalls, orchid show, marine mammal eco talks, and much more. Join thousands of people celebrating the return of Southern Right Whales to the coastal waters of South Africa.

Presented by the award-winning mixers Fitch & Leedes, the Gin and Tonic Festival is all about artisanal foods, live music, and of course, tasty gin and tonics. What’s great about the festival is that is completely cashless, meaning that at the festival’s cash loading station you can load money to a card and use the card at many of the gin bars. Tickets for the festival cost between R160 and R200 and include a free Gin Taster and a complimentary Festival Gin glass.
