1 Concert for Change (May 31)

Presented by Life Child, the Concert for Change is a charity event which raises funds for Life Child International Trust. The organization supports vulnerable and orphaned children in South Africa, Malawi, and Mozambique. The concert features a stellar line-up with names like Lira, Yanga, Jarrad Ricketts, Heinz Winckler, ChrissyT, Kinetic IV. To support a good cause, get your ticket for just R150. A VIP ticket costs R250 and includes photo opportunities with artists, welcome drink, and canapés and more drinks after the show.

2 Vintage with Love Sale 2019 (May 30- June 2)

Shopaholics should check out the Vintage with Love Sale charity event at the Arrivals Hall at V&A Waterfront. All the money raised from the sale will be donated to a variety of literacy programmes, so that every child learns how to read. Besides incredible clothing on sale, there will be food, champagne, and wine at the event.

3 Chardonnay & Pinot Noir at the Vineyard Hotel (May 31)

When we are talking about awesome events in Cape Town this weekend, it would be a real shame not to mention the spectacular Chardonnay & Pinot Noir at the Vineyard Hotel. Presented by Wine Concepts, the event celebrates its 9th birthday and offers a nice selection of Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays to visitors. Alongside wines from 40 of South Africa’s top producers, guests will be served tasty snacks throughout the evening.

4 Cape Town Coffee Festival 2019 (June 1-2)

Here’s one for all you coffee lovers out there. The Cape Town Coffee Festival 2019 is landing in Cape Town for the first time ever. Whether you wish to sample unlimited free coffee, learn more about the process of making coffee at interactive workshops and demonstrations, or enjoy tasty street food and coffee cocktail, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained during the festival. Visitors will have a chance to engage with the baristas, get to know more about the best South African coffee companies, and listen to live music.

5 Botanical Cocktail Workshop (June 1)

Led by Caitlin Hill and Roushanna Gray, the Botanical Cocktail Workshop is definitely one of the most awesome events in Cape Town this Saturday. Caitlin is the brand ambassador for the Botanist Gin, while Roushanna is a wild food forager. Together, they are hosting this workshop which includes a foraging master class which is followed by a walk where edible flowers and wild herbs are gathered. The next step is to learn more about gin and the basics of cocktail making. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about the ingredients, techniques, and equipment which is needed to make different gin-based cocktails. After the workshop, cocktails, and lunch will be served. The entrance to the event costs R650 per person.
