Just 20 steps from Clifton’s famous sugar-white beachs, this gem is a gorgeous contemporary design built on three levels.
Your kitchen opens onto the dinning area, that in turn spills out onto a wrap around terrace that floats level with the yachts at anchor just off shore.
Beautifully appointed bedrooms offer privacy & retreat from the action right on the doorstep.
Bespoke furniture & original South African artworks adorn the walls.
A jewel of a home, serviced daily by our friendly cleaner/care taker.
There are 3 bedrooms
> King bed with En-suite,
> Double bed with en-suite and workstation
> ¾ bed and single pull out ¾ bed.
> A study with double bed sofa and en-suite.
Being 1 row back gives you elevation for magnificent views and keeps the noise and hubbub of the beach a perfect distance for your privacy.
Built on 3 levels, your kitchen, dinning and wrap-around deck sprawl with breathtaking views. Just 20 steps up from the world’s most beautiful beach, where dozens of yachts languish at anchor just off shore, as you enter there is an outdoor shower.
Indoors you find the family room and a king sized sofa bed.
Downstairs, descending between a vast book collection, is another family room with bedrooms either side.
Down to the third level is another bedroom, common area, office nook and kitchenette.
Outdoors is a shower with arguably the best view in the world
The entire home is there for you to enjoy.
Since we’re just off the beach and the suburb is built on a very steep mountainside, there are steps.
But the steps deliver an advantage — they keep the crowds away and provide you with privacy.
Everything about this home screams, “RELAX”.
Clifton consists of 4 distinctly different beaches with sand the color and texture of sugar.
Collectively they’re 800m long (60m wide), making each around 150m long with 25m rocky outcrops dividing each beach from the other.
Each beach has its own unique character:
> Your bungalow is nestled above ‘Three-&-a-Half’ beach…. a 75m secluded stretch of sand sandwiched between the larger more vibrant 3rd and 4th beach on either side.
4th Beach (to our left as you face the ocean) is a family Blue Flag beach with gentle surf.
A dozen and more yachts anchor offshore and make you drool with the smell of BBQs that drift ashore
3rd Beach is packed with international visitors.
2nd Beach is frequented by students 1st Beach allows dogs and is the favorite hangout of locals.
(bonus beach)… in our summer a 5th beach – Mosses Beach – appears when the freshly laundered sand is returned after winter storms denude* it every year to bedrock.
Mosses is frequented by a rather eclectic topless and near naked set.
*This is not called “The Cape of Storms” for nothing. Our winters are dramatic.
Enormous storms plough our beach under, removing most of the sand out into the deep, where it is cleaned and restored again at the start of summer.
What a lucky facility that is that nature has provided – every year an entirely new beach, fresh and clean.
