1. Who is this retreat for?
This journey is designed for adults seeking a meaningful travel experience that blends nature, wellness, connection, and adventure. It’s ideal for solo travellers, couples, and friends who enjoy small-group experiences and intentional travel.
2. Is this a yoga retreat?
This is a wellness-focused journey rather than a traditional intensive yoga retreat. Daily practices may include yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, breathwork, mindful movement, and grounding experiences in nature. All sessions are designed to be accessible and welcoming to different experience levels.
3. Do I need prior yoga or meditation experience?
Not at all. Beginners are very welcome. Practices are guided in an approachable and supportive way, with options to participate at your own pace.
4. What is the group size?
This is an intimate small-group experience designed to encourage genuine connection, comfort, and personal attention throughout the journey.
5. Is the retreat adults-only?
Yes. This experience is intentionally designed for adult travellers seeking a calm, restorative, and immersive journey.
6. What kind of accommodation can I expect?
Accommodation throughout the retreat is carefully selected for comfort, character, location, and overall experience. While not every property is ultra-luxury, all stays are premium, welcoming, and aligned with the retreat’s focus on nature, wellness, and meaningful travel.
7. What is included in the retreat?
Your retreat includes:
- Accommodation throughout the journey (some accommodations will allow for private rooms, however, for the most part you can expect sharing rooms with one other person of the same sex to ensure a collaborative experience)
- Most meals and curated dining experiences
- Daily wellness sessions
- Safari and guided experiences
- Private transport throughout the entire trip
- Professional multilingual hosts and guides

8. What is not included?
International flights, travel insurance, visas (if applicable), airport transfers, personal purchases, gratuities, and selected meals or beverages not specified in the itinerary are excluded.
9. Where does the journey start and end?
The retreat begins in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) and concludes in Cape Town.
10. What airport should I fly into?
Guests should arrive into Port Elizabeth International Airport (PLZ) and depart from Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
11. Is airport transfer included?
No. Arrival and departure airport transfers, as well as pre-post accommodation are not included within the scheduled retreat dates. Please ensure you arrange this, or let us know if this is an additional requirement.
12. What fitness level is required?
A moderate level of mobility is recommended. Activities may include walking, light hiking, yoga sessions, and nature-based experiences. Most activities are optional, and guests are encouraged to participate in a way that feels comfortable for them.
3. Will there be free time?
Yes. The retreat is intentionally balanced between guided experiences and space to rest, reflect, and simply enjoy the surroundings.
14. What should I pack?
We recommend:
- Comfortable clothing for movement and relaxation
- Layers for changing weather
- Walking shoes
- Swimwear
- Sun protection
- A reusable water bottle
- Any personal wellness items you enjoy

15. Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests and should include cancellation cover, medical expenses, and personal belongings.
16. What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellation 90+ days before departure: Deposit refundable minus administrative/bank fees
- Cancellation 89–42 days before departure: 25% of the total retreat cost forfeited
- Cancellation 41 days or less before departure: 100% non-refundable
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
17. Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many guests join solo, and the retreat is intentionally designed to foster connection, community, and shared experience.

19. What language is the retreat hosted in?
The retreat will be hosted primarily in English to encourage shared connection and interaction between guests throughout the journey.
Our hosts are also fluent in German, French, and Spanish, and are happy to assist guests in these languages where needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported.
