This winter, the Waterfront will be hosting a series of concerts called Acoustics Underground, which will take place at the iconic Chavonnes Battery Museum in the Silo District. As a small, intimate venue catering to up to 200 event goers, this museum is ideal for a series of chilled out concerts that feature SA’s top performers.
The venue is also in close distance to the future contemporary art museum that is currently in development. This museum will be built into the famous grain silo after which the Silo District is named. You can read more about the art museum here! Waterfront Concert Line-Up for Winter 2016
All shows will be opened by stars from the recent The Voice SA, followed by the headline performers for each show. Come and support South Africa’s huge talent, and listen to your favourite musicians perform a variety of their top tracks on stage. The line-up for the 2016 Acoustic Underground series at the Waterfront includes the following shows:
